- You bought a new device.
- You are going to reinstall Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation.
- You want to reset your device to the factory settings.
You will need a file manager app or connect your device to a PC to access the device file system. You can use any kind of file manager available on Android. If you do not have one, you can get it here.
Using a file manager app or via a computer, please copy the following files and folders: (app settings, saved favorites, saved routes)
Android/data/com.sygic.truck/files/SygicTruck/Android/settings2.dat
Android/data/com.sygic.truck/files/SygicTruck /Res/db/items.dat
Android/data/com.sygic.truck/files/SygicTruck /Res/itinerary/
These folders are located either in the internal memory or on the SD card of your device. This depends on the storage location that you chose for Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation during the installation.
If you have a new device, install Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation and simply put the files and folders into the same place on your new device.
If you are going to reinstall Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation, first copy the files and folders into a separate place, and after the new installation of the app, put them back in the original place.
If you want to reset your device to the factory settings, please make sure you copy the files and folders either on the SD card or on any other device since your phone's internal memory will get deleted. Afterward, install the Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation again and return the files and folders to their original place.
Tip: Before copying the files, please make sure Sygic GPS Truck & Caravan Navigation is properly turned off and not running in the background.
